A Small Traditional Garden

'Our garden is too shady for the lawn to survive and so we have a big mud patch where we’d like an ‘outdoor room’; somewhere to relax, entertain and where our son can play. We would like to retain our existing, painted furniture.'

 

Solution:
The lawn was removed and replaced with two seating areas in light coloured products. The areas were separated by a planting of tall herbaceous perennials but linked by two paths which offer a stroll around the garden.
